Wicked Dreams

Have you ever had a dream that you couldn't explain. Most of us can't explain because we forget.I remember mine as if it had just happened.I was walking in a forest,wearing a black dress and combat boots,then I walked into this abandoned house. However what I saw inside,were different versions of myself in different rooms. I saw when I was a baby to when I was grown. The dream was so vivid that I thought it was real.There was a guy in one room of the dream. He had ivory skin and black spiky hair.Even though I was looking into the room at myself and him,it felt as if I knew him. I looked so different then what I look like today. He had kissed my cheek and then everything was over. The house vanished into mist as if it never existed. Then I woke up and decided to share it with you. I felt as if it was a sign. A sign that everything is going to change for me in the future.I'm still trying to find out who the boy was. Who knows if I'll meet him in the future or if I already know him. Yep,This is me. What is life???

Life is filled with laughter, love, and a purpose. Love is very important because it keeps you grounded and happy. However, not everyone has had love in thier lives and this keeps them unaware of what life has to offer. Laughter is a form of happiness and expression we all have but have to consistently use. Some people who don't have happiness have forgotten how to smile. Our purpose in life is up to us to find. My purpose is to write. I love writing stories and have decided to go to college to become an author.Writing about characters and different plots makes me happy. I also love to sing and write songs. You have to find your own passion.We all have a purpose, what's yours? Yep,This is me. Awkward Rosalee.

Some one's watching

Have you ever felt as if someone was staring at you? Did you know that even if we're sleeping we can tell that some one's staring? Two days ago I had a staring contest with this guy that looked at me weird. I was standing in a line about to purchase a gift when I looked up and saw this guy. A normal person would look away , but he kept looking at me. I felt as if I was in a TV show. I had looked behind me to check if he was actually looking at me and sure enough when I turned around he had the same blank expression with wide eyes. I felt uncomfortable and awkward at the same time. When I purchased my items I began to speed walk to the car and as soon as I jumped in it I locked all the doors. So whenever you look at someone, please don't look at them with too much intensity. However if you have a sister or brother it's a good way to get on their nerves. Yep,this is me. Awkward Rosalee.

Do they really know?

Children of this generation know about technology more than anything else.Why is that? We,humans,are consumed on gadgets in order to go through life.We use technology at our jobs, in our houses, and sometimes there right beside us when we fall asleep at night. Still, we depend on it for our business and communication.What happened to writing love letters or having conversations face to face? Now we text "I love you" and we dont see thier faces when they get our presents in the mail. What happened to wanting to travel, taking pictures instead of saving a picture of greece on our screen savers and only dreaming of going there? What happened to the American dream of a white picket fence instead of a mansion? What has life become of? What has happened to the old ways? They are gone and now we all enjoy gadgets as toys and they do our jobs for us.This is the 21st century. Yep, this is me. Awkward Rosalee.

Whats wrong with society?

If Cinderellas shoe fit perfectly then why did it fall off? How come Disney lets all the princesses sing in the movies when they know some girls can't sing in real life? Why does society want us to be something were not? There's something I learned now that my 15 years are almost over.

Someone will always be prettier, Someone will always be smarter, Someone will always be younger, BUT THEY WILL NEVER BE YOU.

You don't have problems, society does.

Love can hurt like Hell.

I used to smile whenever I thought about him. I used to look forward to seeing his face everyday. I even fixed his hair whenever it looked messy( everyday). Then I found out he had a girlfriend back home. When I heard about it from my best friend,I walked out the classroom and cried in the hallway.Even though we're so close he didn't bother to tell me he had a girlfriend.I felt stupid, ashamed, and embarrassed."Why didn't he tell me?", I cried as people passed by. I learned from this devastating heartache that my true friends were always there.My team made me smile and as I wiped away my tears and came back to reality( the classroom), he didn't even ask me what was wrong?My eyes we're red from the tears I cried over him but he didn't care. Now, I can't touch his hair anymore or the veins on his hand.Even though I'm still his friend and we still talk, I'll always remember that love hurts like hell.

           How many days does it take someone to emotionally prepare for something? Later this month I'll be a sophomore and I'll have to focus on school work. Then when my birthday comes I'll be 16 and have to get a job.The problem is I don't know what to do. I don't want to be the person behind the cash register or work at any retail store.I personally have very low patience when it comes to strangers asking me questions. I would probably say this out loud and not even notice it. "Why do you shop at this store?, You come here every saturday...you should know where the jeans are by now." I don't know why but,I stress about what Im going to do in the future everyday. It stays in my head and repeats itself over and over again. I wonder who's pressing the playback button throughout my mind. I guess I'll have to find a job that I like but,also pays my phone bill.Yep, this is me. AWKWARD ROSALEE.

 This morning I was startled by a spider that came from my closet and crawled up to me. While I was sitting on my bed I watched it crawl up to my feet as I restrained myslef from yelling. Next thing I knew,the creature was dead due to the man made shoe in my hand.The fact is killing the spider reminded me of somethimg. Many people have to get rid of something inorder to get somewhere or return to their routine. For you,it might have been negative people that brought you down from doing something you really wanted to do. In high school I have to be aware of people like this. My freinds encourage me to do what I love and I push them towards their dreams also. The ones that make you feel as if you don't have an idetity are absurd and wrong. Everyone has a place in this world but you need to get their with the right people. So if you want to make your dream come true, go out and start with people you care about that can back you up.Yep, this is me. Awkward Rosalee.

  Sometimes I think people take their lifes for granted. They wait at the last second to do something. If your going to tell your crush that youv'e liked them for 2 years then confess. I honestly can't stand when my friends(that are boys)come to me for advice about confessing to girls. The answer is always the same: Just Do It! If she doesn't like you then it's her lost.Most of the boys are very smart(as in nerdy) but there super sweet.The girls that they choose are in the same category.About half of the boys that confess are lucky enough to have a girlfriend. Why wait when you can do it right now? You Only Live Once so make it last. Make the moment count as something you will never forget(or regret)for the rest of your life.YOLO is not an excuse.If you live off of desserts YOLO stands for something completely different.   How many times do you think about the outcome of situations you've never gotten into? When you watch a horror movie and you know that person is gonna die,just by her actions or low IQ. When you know you'll ace the interview and have all the answers prepared to questions you studied the night before.In high school, you were probably prepared to say the cutest thing to your crush to make him notice you.Let's face it,this is reality and reality is nothing like the movies. Even though you prepared for the interview, you did't grab your paperwork. Then, when you bumped into your highschool crush in the hallway, your mouth opens but no words come out. We always have everything planned out in our head but somehow it never goes as planned. The dum girl dies first in a horror flick because she doesn't know where to hide.Go figure, it's a movie.Yep, this is me. Awkward Rosalee.

  Everyday I notice that Im bumping into something new. Usually it's my foot that gets hurt but, lately it's been getting worse. When I woke up this morning my foot hit my vanity chair and I fell to my knees. Next,this afternoon I entered an office and my hip hit the side of my desk.Luckily it didn't leave a mark and no one saw the pain on my face. I don't know if Im just naturally clumsy or my tall legs are attracted to things that bring me pain.

  Have you ever heard the saying "Two Faced". Im not talking about the makeup line but the expression.  Not only is it a roller coaster ride but it's an emotion everyone has. We are all two faced because of people around us. As soon as we get out in the real world you have to learn how to be two faced. Not only is it at your work place but its every where you go. You act nice on the out side during a conversation but on the in side what you really want to say is,"Why are you still talking to me?" When your in a rush to get somewhere and you get behind the SLOWEST driver in the world. You probably curse them out or yell...even though they don't hear you. Then,when your boss calls your cellphone you don't want to pick it up. Next, you think about your paycheck and pick up the phone with the fakest voice in the world.
